The capital of Friuli is Trieste, a port in northeastern Italy right on the border with Slovenia. Trieste flourished as part of Austro-Hungarian Empire. In Friuli, the winery is life. There is no separation between 'home and work' or 'work and play'. Everything needed is cultivated on the premises.
